Welcome!
I'm Krz and I'm creating Last Days, a post-apocalyptic zombie visual novel made in Ren'py!
-----------
Plot
Eight months after the world collapsed, you find yourself in a survivor camp on the outskirts of a ruined city. The outbreak has torn everything apart, but you've managed to protect the most important people in your life: your mother and sisters.
In this visual novel, you play as a young man navigating the dangers of a zombie-infested world while struggling to keep your family safe. Scarcity, desperation, and the collapse of society have changed everyone—and survival now means more than just staying alive.
This version of the game is a short prologue, just a few minutes long, offering a glimpse of the story I want to tell.

So just to know if the gameplay is weak, the game will be pointless ... We already have a lot of boring novels, 1000 lines of dialogs, no story, the idea behind it is good. Try to don't use AI, focus on what it can provide as emotions...
Hi! The idea is to create an interesting story, without forgetting the type of game it is!
Keep workin 💪
the idea sounds good, but you should really work on it until it has actual content before you release the next version, this way not only does it allow people to really form an opinion on it, but it also gives you a better idea on how long how much content takes and therefore you can give the people an idea on how long they jeed to wait in between updates which is far more important than you may think
also while improvement is important, it's better to focus on the story and content, many games end up unsuccessful or abandoned because the developer focused to much in constantly improving and reworking stuff, also important you should already focus on how the story goes and don't focus too much on what direction some people want it to go, most of the time the initial idea and concept is the best and by really writing out the story from the beginning you get far more consistency and the story overall will probably feel better, of course the details and the way you tell the story can change and improve, but the overall foundation should be something you try and plan out early and try to not get to distracted from a few people telling you how the story or characters are supposed to be
but that's just my opinion from based on what i experienced throughout years
Hey, thanks for the advice! Yes, I'm gonna try what you said. I know this is a bit long and tedious, even though this is my first time creating a visual novel, I already have quite a bit of experience making other types of games. As long as the game have support and people like it, I know I can finish the game!
